With a large family, finding a family-friendly hotel can be a challenge, but our experience at Hotel Keistad in Amersfoort exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms may have been on the smaller side, but the king-size bed provided a comfortable space for our entire family to sleep. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the heart of Amersfoort and overlooking the main square. It was convenient for exploring the city, dining at nearby restaurants, and accessing various attractions.
For families with children, it would be great to have a wider variety of hot breakfast options available. While the buffet-style breakfast offered fresh bread, croissants, cold meats, and cheeses, we would have loved to see some hot dishes for a more satisfying meal.

The rooms at Hotel Keistad are cozy and well-equipped. The bed is comfortable with a flat-screen TV to relax and enjoy cable channels. The air-conditioning adjusts perfectly to your needs. As a budget traveler, I absolutely loved the value for money.
Personally, I found the wired internet access in the classic rooms a bit inconvenient. Others may still enjoy it though.

I recently stayed at Hotel Keistad for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to make me feel at home. Despite its central location, the hotel had a friendly and cosy atmosphere. The rooms, though small, had a comfortable king-size bed and the bathroom was clean with ample hot water. The location was perfect, with a lovely square and a view of the majestic tower. Amersfoort itself is a beautiful city with plenty of interesting shops and canals.
Would recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed the great location in the heart of the town, surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff were very amiable and friendly, making us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. The room was well-maintained and cleaned daily, and the bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep.
The noise levels were slightly higher than we were accustomed to, but this was a small price to pay for being in such a convenient location. The breakfast on offer didn't quite meet our expectations, but fortunately, there were plenty of other dining options nearby.

Spent a lovely Easter weekend in a cozy hotel located right at the heart of the city. Loved the friendly staff who went all out to ensure that we had everything we needed. the rooms were small but very modern, offering everything we required during our stay. the breakfast was scrumptious and we loved the fact that it was included in our stay. the view from our room was amazing as we were right next to the vibrant square that was buzzing with activity. We enjoyed watching people and soaking up the city's atmosphere from the comfort of our room.
Although the hotel itself was great, one downside was the noise from the square. It was incredibly busy, and at night, it got a bit loud outside with everyone enjoying the nightlife and restaurants.

The rooms at this hotel are truly a haven from the hustle and bustle of the city. With their air-conditioning/heating system, it's like having a personal climate control console right at your fingertips. I must say, adjusting the temperature to my liking was as satisfying as sipping on one of the restaurant's exquisite wines.
Limited heating options.
